He's a mellow individual who tries to be warm and friendly to people but may come across as awkward. Luce is timid and reserved otherwise, lacking the self esteem and confidence to achieve anything of importance.
Given his lack of motivation, he's prone to revere ambitious, assertive people and become a devoted follower.
He uses every social opportunity to sharpen intuition and discernment, being able to tell whether someone has ill intentions or not. It's clear that his gut feeling works at full potential, though he doesn't always choose to get out of disaster's path.
